How can a farm or hotel get its own reliable water source?
A farm, hotel or resort gets its own reliable water by sizing daily demand first, then siting the borehole on a water-bearing zone that can meet it and confirming the yield with a pumping test. WaterLocation projects have delivered 200 m³ a day for a Latvian farm, more than 450 m³ a day for a Namibian hotel and 1,000 m³ a day for a Saudi agricultural client.
By client type
| Site | Before | Result | Yield |
|---|---|---|---|
| Farm, Latvia | Village wells only after rain | 63 m artesian well | ≈200 m³/day |
| Farm, Altmannstein, Germany | Needed 10 l/s, old well gave 2 | Water at 88 m | 10 l/s |
| Hotel complex, Namibia | 9 wells, one steady | Two new wells | 450+ m³/day |
| Municipality, Ulrichstein, Germany | Advised to connect to mains | ≈200 m well | 300+ m³/day |
| City, Sierra Leone | Three months a year without water | Water from 20 m, 60 m borehole | 250 m³/day |
Steps
- Calculate daily demand and how water will reach the point of use.
- Survey: 2–3 days on site, report with point, depth and forecast yield.
- Drilling by a licensed local contractor to the specification.
- Pumping test, then the discovery fee and fit-out.
Questions
Can one well cover a hotel?
It depends on demand and the site; the report compares forecast yield with your daily need, and a second well can be sited if required.
Do you help after drilling?
Yes, the well is equipped to our requirements after the source is confirmed.
